Anthony Flaccavento is the dynamic leader behind Appalachian Sustainable Development. Flaccavento started ASD out of a desire to bridge the gap between environmentalists and people working for economic development. ASD has launched two social enterprises with a "triple bottom line"—meaning they have three goals: economic, environmental and social.
